Free festivity at 60

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church is celebrating its 60th anniversary and grand opening of its new church facilities this weekend with free food, music and volunteer events at 600 St. Andrews Road in Newport Beach.
Volunteers can help church members wash cars, assemble health kits, feed hungry families in the community and more beginning 11 a.m. today. A free lunch provided by TK Burgers will begin at noon, and a worship service tonight will begin at 6:45 p.m. A free dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m., followed by a free concert by Christian singer and songwriter Phil Wickham.
The festivities will continue Sunday with worship services at 10:15 a.m.
A festival that will feature free food, a petting zoo, a dunk tank, face painting and balloon artists will begin at 11:30 a.m. A free concert featuring Christian children’s recording artist Jana Alayra will begin at 1:30 p.m. A big band concert featuring Ralph Carmichael will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $10.
The event will conclude with free coffee and dessert at 8 p.m.
