Area 1

Cliff Drive: A citation for violating tide pool rules was issued after seven people were seen pulling things off the rocks at Rock Pile in the 300 block at 1:59 p.m. Sunday.

Cliff Drive: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after police were called to a verbal altercation between two men at Myrtle Street at 8:53 p.m. Monday.

High Drive: A man was detained and released to the Border Patrol after a fight in which a man was injured in the 100 block at 12:18 a.m. Saturday.

Lower Cliff Drive: A homeless man was issued a citation for public intoxication at Cliff Drive at 1:36 p.m. Thursday.

Myrtle Street: A man was taken to the hospital for treatment of facial injuries at North Coast Highway at 12:35 p.m. Monday.

North Coast Highway: A sting ray wound was reported in the 100 block at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday.

North Coast Highway: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Beverly Street at 1:53 a.m. Friday.

Poplar Street: A rattlesnake was relocated from the side door of a residence in the 500 block at 7:53 p.m. Tuesday.

Vista Lane: $10,000 in cash was reported stolen from a box kept in a closet in the 600 block at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

El Toro Road: Campaign signs were removed by a Caltrans crew at Laguna Canyon Road at 12:41 p.m. Tuesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Scion rolled over and took out 60 feet of fence, but caused no injuries, near the 73 Toll Road at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday.

Canyon View Drive: A license plate was reported stolen in the 600 block at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday.

Forest Avenue: Two items valued at $40 were reported stolen from a clothing shop in the 200 block, at 3:51 p.m. Monday.

Glenneyre Street: A $1,300 laptop computer was reported stolen from an office in the 300 block after the door was jimmied, at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday.

Manzanita Drive: A cellphone and charger were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Park Avenue at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday.

Ocean Avenue: A Laguna Niguel man was issued a drug citation at South Coast Highway at 11:46 a.m. Friday.

Ocean Avenue: A minor was cited for possessing alcohol in the 200 block at 9:27 p.m. Friday.

Park Avenue: A woman fainted while running and required medical attention in the 2100 block at 2:47 p.m. Thursday.

Park Avenue: Extra police patrols were called in after a driver refused to stop for a crossing guard at a school in the 2100 block at 9:22 a.m. Friday.

Skyline Drive: A snake was removed from a bedroom in the 1300 block at 3:22 p.m. Monday.

South Coast Highway: $300 was reported stolen from a hotel room in the 600 block at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday.

South Coast Highway: A $300 necklace was reported stolen from a shop in the 200 block on Tuesday, at 3:05 p.m. Friday.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 500 block at 9:17 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A Hemet woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Ocean Avenue at 12:47 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on a traffic warrant after police were called to break up a fight in the 500 block at 7:05 p.m. Friday.

Alta Vista Way: A call about possible smoke in the hills was determined to be fog in the 400 block at 7:18 p.m. Thursday.

Glenneyre Street: A Laguna Beach woman was issued a drug citation at Diamond Street at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Victoria Drive: A vehicle was reported broken into and a wallet with $20 taken, with $1,000 in damages to the vehicle, at South Coast Highway at 5:52 p.m. Thursday.

La Senda Drive: A briefcase was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the first block at 3:03 p.m. Tuesday.

Montage Resort Drive: A Laguna Hills man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 8:23 p.m. Friday.

Third Avenue: A Placentia man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 1:38 a.m. Saturday.

Third Avenue: A planter worth $80 was reported stolen from a driveway of a home in the 31000 block at 3:43 p.m. Saturday.

Third Avenue: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 2:14 a.m. Sunday.

Vista del Sol: A Texas man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway at 2:17 a.m. Sunday.

Wesley Drive: Vandalism was reported in the front yard of a home in the 21000 block at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday.
