Tennis, Pilates offered for Laguna Beach seniors

The city of Laguna Beach Senior Services is offering mixed doubles in Senior Tennis 55+.

The group will met from 8 to 11 a.m. each Wednesday at Alta Laguna Park beginning Sept. 3 through Dec. 17. There is no charge to participate and registration is first come, first served at the courts.

Senior Services also is offering a course in Pilates. The course consists of three major components: strengthening exercises, cardiovascular exercises and stretching, range-of-motion and flexibility exercise.

Classes will be held from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the Senior Center on Wednesdays and Fridays, beginning Aug. 27 through Dec. 19. There is no cost to attend.
