Laguna Beach Senior Services sets fall schedule

The city of Laguna Beach Senior Services, in collaboration with the Emeritus Institute at Irvine Valley College, provides courses for older adults at off-campus sites.

Fall classes will be from Aug. 25 to Dec. 19.

Registration for continuing students begins July 15 and new students may apply by completing an application, and may register beginning Aug. 4.

The fall schedule offers a variety of fitness and life-long learning classes at low or no cost to participants.

Classes include:

?Yoga;

?Aquatic Fitness;

?Introduction to the Short Story;

?Cooking for 1 or 2;

?Watercolors; and

?Body & Brain Fitness.

New classes for fall include:

?Pilates;

?Qi Gong;

?Film Genres; and

?Law for the Layman.
