Residents to review Costa Mesa budget with officials
- Share via
Residents will have two last chances to discuss Costa Mesa’s budget for the upcoming year with city staff and the City Council before the June 17 council vote. There will be a council study session to discuss the budget at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, for which staff and council members will be present, and a community budget workshop 6 p.m. Thursday, without the council.
Both meetings will take place in City Hall Conference Room 1A.
The city doesn’t expect to have to make any big changes to the proposed budget because City Council members and staffers discussed their questions and concerns with the budget drafters throughout the past few months, said City Manager Allan Roeder.
Roeder said priorities and capital projects are usually discussed.
The roughly 300-page document can be found at www.ci.costa-mesa.ca.us or in paper form at City Hall, and the Mesa Verde and Donald Dungan branch libraries.
