Stanley Roland Martin
64, born Dec 25, 1943 in New Jersey, passed away May 15, 2008. Resident of Santa Ana & Tustin for 30 years. He is survived by his sons Craig & David of Orange.
Stan was a good athlete in High School. He was not great but he gave it his all, he never quit and was always noted for his loyalty and effort. Stan achieved much more than others twice his size. He graduated H.S. in 1961 and traveled abroad for 4 years and returned in 1965 to Kean College in N.J. He was an active in sports and Vice President of Sigma Beta Tau Fraternity. He received a scholarship to the University of Maryland and in 1971 received a Masters Degree in Special Ed. He taught in Maryland for 10 years. Stan changed careers and migrated to Santa Ana. He was an outstanding salesman and sales manager. He helped many to achieve success through his motivation and guidance and always thought of others and sacrificed much and never stopped helping his friends. He was active for 15 years on the CAC in Tustin.
Stan will be missed by his sons, his Special Lady and Travel companion Linda and his many friends from Tustin, Newport Beach and Corona del Mar. Private services will be held Sunday May 25, Sunset at Little Corona Beach in Corona del Mar.
