Ybanez, Richard P. 3/23/43-12/12/07 So. Cal. native and resident of HB for 35yrs prior to moving to Brea, CA, |
left to be with our Lord as a result of brain surgery complications. He was a General Contractor and self-made man, who |
also held a black belt in martial arts. He initially learned the trade from his sister’s husband, Otto Roehl. In his early years |
he worked on housing tracts all over HB, OC, and Az. When he wasn’t working, he was off-road racing in the desert, AZ, |
or Baja, sand railing in the Dunes, boating on the River, or in later years, RV’ing thru the National Parks, rock crawling, |
or attending street rod shows. He was a fun-loving charismatic man who always made time to help his family and friends. |
He is extremely dearly missed. He leaves his devoted wife Sally, loving daughters Andrea Bisson and Cathy |
Burton, son James Temple, granddaughters Judy Bisson and Lela Burton, his dear brother Louis, and dear sister Nina |
Roehl. He lived his motto “Work Hard, Play Hard”, and believed faster & bigger was better. Forever in our loving memories. |
