UCI is led by senior forward Patrick Sanders (15.1 points per game) and senior center Darren Fells (13.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest) ... Fells has double-doubles in three of his last four games and he leads the Big West in field-goal shooting (59.2%) ... Fells’ 647 rebounds rank No. 8 in school career annals ... UCI sophomore point guard Michael Hunter was seven of 15 from three-point range in two games last week (46.7%). His season-high 15 points Saturday at Pacific were all the result of three-pointers ...
