The standout pole vaulter, who graduated from Newport Harbor High in the spring, is sure to be one of the Daily Pilot’s Top 10 stories of 2007. Those stories will be revealed Monday, Dec. 31. Readers will be able to vote online for their top five stories of the year.
The top 10 stories package is one of the end-of-the year themes featured in the Daily Pilot sports section this week.
On Saturday, the top sports photos of the year will be unveiled.
On Sunday, the Daily Pilot sports’ Newsmaker of the Year will be profiled.
The end-of-the-year series ends Jan. 1 with a look at what’s ahead in local sports.
