Professional surfing legend Lisa Andersen will be at Huntington Surf & Sport, 300 Pacific Coast Hwy., from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Andersen will be on hand to sign copies of the new biography, “Fearlessness: The Story of Lisa Andersen,” by former Surfing magazine editor Nick Carroll, who will be there to sign copies of his book.

Andersen ran away from her Florida home when she was 16 to become a professional surfer, a post she has said she wasn’t sure existed at the time. She ended up living in Huntington Beach and was soon making a name for herself on the local surf scene as a standout female ripper. She went on to win an unprecedented four World Championship Tour titles, from 1994 through 1997.
