Mariners school students ready to defend Christianity

Middle school students at Mariners Christian School may be among the most prepared students in the country to defend their faith if they’re challenged, according to the Assn. of Christian Schools International.

The organization has recognized Mariners Christian School’s Apologetics Program, a series of courses that prepares middle schoolers to defend the tenets of the Christian faith.

The program is one of 28 recognized across the nation for being exemplary.

The school will be recognized publicly at the association’s 2007 Teacher’s Convention Saturday and Sunday in Anaheim.
