Everest climber to show slides of his expedition

Bill Burke, the Costa Mesa climber who came within 300 feet of Mt. Everest’s 29,035-foot peak in May, will present a slide show of his expedition Sunday at the Neighborhood Community Center in Costa Mesa.
The show is set to run about two hours and includes numerous photos from the world’s tallest mountain, logistical information on the climb, trip highlights and low points, and Burke’s plans for future climbs.
