Corona del Mar resident Nicholas A. Burke received honors for the winter term at The Gunnery, the college preparatory school he attends in Washington, Conn. Burke will graduate in 2010.

Mariners Elementary School teacher Susan Robben took her sixth-grade class on a half-day field trip to the Superior Court in Santa Ana. The students toured the courthouse and visited Judge M. Marc Kelly’s courtroom.

Newport Beach resident Philip Herrington has been named vice president of Edison Mission Group, a subsidiary of Edison International. Herrington joined Edison Mission Group in 1993. In his new role, he will be responsible for asset management and overseeing operations of the company’s California-based power plants.
