SEATTLE — Four Anteaters pitchers held the Huskies hitless through eight innings in the deciding game of a three-game nonconference series completed Sunday at Husky Ballpark.

Chris Lopez, Thomas Calahan and Eric Pettis combined for three hitless innings, before Andy Lentz tripled in the ninth off Blair Erickson to ruin the no-hit bid.
Erickson surrendered one earned run, but closed out the win, which dropped Washington to 2-8.
Ben Orloff went three for five with a double, the fourth extra-base hit for the UCI sophomore shortstop who did not have an extra-base hit last season.
Senior outfielder Matt Morris was two for five with his fourth home run of the season and three RBIs, while junior catcher Aaron Lowenstein and sophomore designated hitter Tony Asaro each had two hits for the winners.
Senior second baseman Cody Cipriano hit his fifth dinger of the year, a solo shot in the ninth.
