OCC anniversary exhibit opens Feb. 2
Orange Coast College’s 60th anniversary art exhibit will open Friday, Feb. 2.
The exhibit, in the new Frank M. Doyle Arts Pavilion, features a number of artifacts from OCC’s history, including posters, photographs, books and more. The centerpiece of the show is “Activities of the Gremlins,” murals painted on the school grounds during World War II.
From 5 to 9 p.m., the gallery will hold an opening reception for the show, which runs through April 19. The reception will also serve as a dedication for the gallery, which finished construction at the end of last year.
