Thrashers capture Wales title

The Thrashers jumped out to an early two-goal lead and rode that fast start to a 7-3 victory over the Blackhawks in the championship match of the Wales Division playoffs at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Scoring two goals apiece for the Thrashers were Gregory Hancock and Jordan Matsunaga. Jason Lally, Kyler Scott and Kayden Muzila all scored once.
Lally and Scott also had two assists each and Matsunaga assisted another goal.
Connor Culhane scored twice and had an assist to pace the Blackhawks. Sam Prizler also scored and Jayce Borski had 19 saves.

Smythe Division
Rattlers 3, Terminators 1
The Rattlers took a 3-0 lead en route to winning the division title.
Chandler Clark, Michael Kramer and Jake Grothjan all scored goals. Jennifer Leung had a pair of assists and Clark and Stephanie Leung also had assists.
Casidhe Kunichika finished with 24 saves.
Lawrence Benavente scored unassisted and Craig Wellander had 14 saves for the Terminators.
Campbell Division
HB Psychos 9, Breakers 2 1
The Psychos scored four goals in the opening and closing periods in rolling to the championship.
Garrett Zolg and Jeff Klimczak each posted three goals and Aaron Cree scored twice. Maverick Knight also scored.
Joseph Loya and Preston Alvarez each had two assists and Zolg and Cayden Carthey each had an assist.
Cole Kennedy recorded 14 saves.
John Keegan scored an unassisted goal and Nolan Strout had 11 saves for Breakers 2.
Howe Division
Hawks 3, Panthers 0
Brad Giczewski had a busy match and finished with 40 saves, as the Hawks won the division title via a shutout.
Evan Hess and Adam Hess each had a goal and assist. Dylan Rodriguez scored and Ethan Higbee also had an assist.
Panthers goalie Dylan Moan had 34 saves.
