The following is from the daily log of the Laguna Beach Police Dept. from Wednesday, Dec. 13, through Tuesday, Dec. 19. It is presented in reverse order of occurrence.

TUESDAY

Coast Highway: At 7:42 p.m., an injured seal was reported on the beach on the 31100 block.

Forest Avenue: At 5:32 p.m., a trash can filled with jeans was reported stolen from a shop on the 300 block.

Santa Ana Street: At 4:06 p.m., $200 was reported stolen from a home on the 1000 block.

Cliff Drive: At 2:33 p.m., a woman was given medical aid for a head injury at Jasmine Street.

Third Street: At 11:47 a.m., bones — at first believed to be human but later determined to be pig bones — were discovered by asbestos workers behind a home on the 300 block.

Coast Highway: At 9:01 a.m., unidentified items were reported stolen the previous day from a vehicle on the 32300 block.

Oak Street: At 3:09 a.m., a Laguna Beach man and a Newport Beach man were arrested on suspicion of drug possession after being stopped for alleged drunk driving at Temple Terrace.

Glenneyre Street: At 2:57 a.m., a Huntington Beach man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public on the 800 block.

MONDAY

Glenneyre Street: At 2:48 p.m., a vehicle was reported keyed on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Legion Street.

No. Coast Highway: At 1:06 p.m., a newborn baby sustained a head bump and was given medical aid after reportedly falling from its mother’s arms at a hotel on the 200 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 10:28 a.m., graffiti was reported at a café on the 900 block.

SUNDAY

Bounty Way: At 11:50 p.m., a woman was given medical assistance after she reported that something may have been put into her drink on the 1400 block.

Forest Avenue: At 8:46 p.m., a possible counterfeit $100 bill was reported at a shop on the 200 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 10:59 a.m., a jacket was reported stolen the previous night from a hotel on the 400 block.

Main Beach: At 7:18 a.m., a sick cormorant was taken into custody on the 100 block.

Third Avenue: At 3:40 a.m., a Laguna Niguel man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at Coast Highway.

Broadway: At 12:48 a.m., a person was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on the 200 block.

Myrtle Street: At 12:37 a.m., a Texas woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Coast Highway.

San Tropez Court: At 12:44 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after reportedly yelling and banging on a friend’s door on the 100 block.

Coast Highway: At 12:16 a.m., an Aliso Viejo woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Bluebird Canyon Drive.

SATURDAY

Frontage Road: At 11:47 p.m., a man was accused of battery after an altercation with a woman that began in a bar and ended up on the street on the 800 block.

El Toro Road: At 7:08 p.m., a Mission Viejo man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being stopped for allegedly weaving on the road near the 73 Toll Road.

Seacliff Drive: At 3:53 p.m., someone reported a Social Security number was used to open a fraudulent account on the 31600 block.

Top Of The World Drive: At 10:52 a.m., a large goat was reported in a front yard, and a goat herder was summoned to take charge of the animal, on the 28800 block.

St. Ann’s drive: At 5:56 a.m., two men were arrested on suspicion of trespassing and public intoxication after being found asleep in the bathroom of a church on the 300 block.

FRIDAY

Coast Highway: At 9:11 p.m., a San Clemente woman was arrested on drug charges after a stop for suspected DUI at Nyes Place.

Alta Mira Road: At 8:02 p.m., a fireplace fire was responded to on the 0 block.

Top Of The World Drive: At 5:43 p.m., a goatherder was called to corral a goat in the front yard of a home on the 28800 block.

Hilledge Drive: At 4:08 p.m., fraudulent charges of more than $5,000 were reported by a resident on the 400 block.

Coast Highway: At 2:51 p.m., a small seal was reported beached but apparently active on the 31100 block.

Laguna Canyon Road: At 10:14 a.m., a woman reportedly passed out due to a seizure on the tennis courts on the 600 block.

Three Arch Bay Beach: At 10:34 a.m., an injured cormorant was taken into custody on the 00 block.

Third Avenue: At 6:36 a.m., a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a truck at Coast Highway.

THURSDAY

Bluebird Canyon Road: At 5:41 p.m., a purse was reported recovered in Dana Point after being stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1600 block.

Third Street: At 12:55 p.m., a Wisconsin juvenile was arrested on suspicion of drug possession at Mermaid Street.

WEDNESDAY

Beverly Street: At 5:52 p.m., a TV and laptop were reported stolen between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. the same day from a residence on the 200 block.

Catalina Avenue: At 4:45 p.m., an injured hummingbird was taken into custody at a retail outlet on the 500 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 3:57 p.m., fraudulent use of a credit card was reported at a hotel on the 1500 block.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: At 10:48 a.m., a parrot was reported killed by a hawk on the 800 block.
