The Green Chargers improved to 2-0 in league play and 5-0 overall.
A hit by Steven Springer on the game’s second play led to a fumble recovery by Bryce Campbell, which set up a seven-play, 60-yard drive that was capped by a nine-yard scoring run by Josh Martinez.
Before the first half was over, Isaah Lumbruno scored twice — one coming on a 70-yard run — as Huntington strolled to a 20-0 halftime lead.
Adam Spies scored on a short run on the Green Chargers’ first possession of the second half to complete the scoring.
Tanner Greeley had two interceptions for a Huntington defense that limited La Habra to just one first down.

The Green Chargers suffered their second loss of the season at the hands of the division’s defending Orange Bowl champion Griffins.

Huntington 33, North Long Beach 0
The Green Chargers ran their league record to 5-0 and overall mark to 7-0 with their seventh consecutive shutout victory, easily handling the previously undefeated White Panthers at Long Beach Jordan High.
A fumble recovery by Allan Vogelsang set up a touchdown run by Steele Escobedo. A 20-yard TD pass from quarterback Trevor Borkowski to Treavon Coley put Huntington up, 14-0, at the half.
Borkowski returned the second-half kickoff 65 yards for another score, Jordan Palomino had a 10-yard TD run and a TD pass from Robert Rice to Peter Russo rounded out the scoring.
Jr. Mighty Mite Division
Santa Margarita 20, Huntington 19
Alec Lowman, Travis Burleson and Danny Casaro each scored a touchdown for Huntington, but the Chargers suffered their first loss of the season when Santa Margarita scored in the final minute of play.
