CITYSCAPE ROUNDUP:Hatcher reprises role at Pageant

Teri Hatcher is scheduled to host the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters’ eighth annual benefit gala on Saturday for the second consecutive year.

Officials hope to raise more than $250,000 during the sold-out event for the Festival of Arts Building Fund for improvements and renovations of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters facility.

Hatcher stars on the TV series “Desperate Housewives,” and won a Golden Globe and a SAG Award for her role as Susan Mayer. She has had starring roles as Lois Lane in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman” and in “Macgyver.” Her feature film credits include “A Touch of Fate,” “Jane Doe” and “Spy Kids.”

Hatcher is no stranger to the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters. Last year, she and her daughter Emerson were volunteer cast members for a night, posing in the Pageant’s re-creation of Jean Beraud’s “Outside the House of Paquin.” She wrote of her Pageant experience in her recent memoir, “Burnt Toast.”

The gala will feature a performance of the Pageant of the Masters’ “A Passion for Art,” where artwork of Vincent van Gogh, Auguste Rodin, John Singer Sargent, Norman Rockwell and many others will come to life with the help of volunteers.
