Anteater golfer falls

PUEBLO, Colo. ? UC Irvine golfer Selanne Henderson, who defeated Diane Kwon of Fremont, 6 and 5 in the round of 32 Friday morning, fell to New Jersey’s Angela Oh in 20 holes in the round of 16 at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship Friday afternoon.

Henderson, who is slated to be a junior next school year at UCI, was ahead by a stroke going into the 18th hole before dropping a shot on the last hole to finish in a tie with Oh.

The duo remained tied through one playoff hole, then Oh birded the second and final hole, on which Henderson carded a bogey.
