Skulls topple Rattlers in overtime

Paige Gast scored an unassisted goal in an overtime shootout Monday to complete a comeback by the Skulls, who defeated the Rattlers, 5-4, in Smythe Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Prior to the winning goal, Zach Hoskins had scored the first four goals for the Skulls, who trailed, 3-2, heading into the final quarter.

Ethan Higbee had an assist and Jason Ferrall recorded 17 saves.

Kayden Muzila scored two goals to pace the Rattlers on offense. Matthew Oyakawa had a goal and assist, Shane Williams scored once and William Engelke had an assist.

Brandon Sizemore also finished with 17 saves.
