POSTSEASON AWARDS

Nine UC Irvine tennis players were honored in the Big West Conference’s postseason awards.

Becky Bernhard and Inna Agababian were first-team all-conference selections in women’s singles. Agababian was a second-team all-conference pick in doubles with partner Heidi Kaloi. Bernhard made the honorable mention list in doubles with partner Ashley Siddall.

Victor Lamm was an All-Big West first-team pick in men’s singles. Aaron Ellis made the second team and Mustafa Ulukan was an honorable mention pick.

Lamm and Ulukan made the second team in doubles with partners Alex Sundling and Trevor Dobson, respectively.

Orange Coast College’s Alexandra Wilson and Britney McAleer have been named to the All-Orange Empire Conference second team in softball.

Wilson hit .330 with 41 hits and 17 RBIs, and was named the team’s most valuable player.

McAleer led the team with 43 hits, 30 RBIs and eight homers. The freshman from Costa Mesa hit .287 and was the team’s offensive player of the year.
