Real estate developer and arts supporter Henry Segerstrom was honored on Sunday with the Legacy Prix d’Honneur -- an award created especially for him by the Orange County Business Committee for the Arts.
The award was announced at the organization’s 24th annual Business in the Arts awards ceremony held at the Orange County Museum of Art and the Ritz Restaurant and Garden.
Segerstrom, who was instrumental in the development of South Coast Plaza and the founding of the Orange County Performing Arts Center, was one of 14 award winners.
The Pacific Symphony won the committee’s arts award, which recognizes a nonprofit arts organization for developing partnerships with business.
