HB Blazers outlast Snipers 96

Christopher Boyd and Trent Morsk each netted overtime goals as the HB

Blazers outlasted Snipers 96, 8-6, in an Atom Club Division match at

Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Boyd led the Blazers in scoring with three goals and Morsk and

Brad Schlerf each scored twice.

Snipers 96 was led in scoring by Chase Lipscomb, Matt Oyakawa and

Cameron Platzman, who each scored twice.

Snipers 97 held off a late charge by the Orange County Blazers

Cubs to record a one-goal victory.

Chase Lipscomb led the way for Snipers 97 with three goals,

followed by Jack Koulos with two goals.

Cameron Platzman scored once and Max Votaw and Bryan Rousseau each

had an assist.

For the OCB Cubs, Jason Drechsel led all scorers with four goals.

Two of Drechsel’s goals came in the third period, where the Cubs

posted three goals.

Sean Cullinane scored once for the Cubs.
