Water project may affect traffic
Streets in the vicinity of the high school and surrounding area will
be closed periodically for a major water pipeline project through the
end of August.
In order to enhance fire safety and improve the overall
reliability of the water distribution system, the County Water
District will install domestic water pipelines in Bluemont Street,
Wendt Terrace, and Park Avenue between Wendt Terrace and Blumont
Street.
Traffic in this area will be affected from Monday through Aug. 31.
Streets will remain open to pedestrian traffic, and every effort
will be made to maintain vehicle access.
Hours of construction will be 7:30 am. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday.
District customers will be notified if water service will be
interrupted.
