* Alta Laguna Boulevard: A water heater reportedly blew up at 9:35
p.m. in the 3000 block.
* Cliff Drive: A woman reported that several items were stolen
from her unlocked vehicle at 9:26 p.m. in the 600 block.
* Quivera Street: A fire was reported in a Dumpster at 3:36 p.m.
in the 800 block.
* South Coast Highway: A woman reported that her property was
stolen out of her car when it was towed at 1:21 p.m. in the 1700
block.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that 20 children
ate dinner and left without paying at 6:42 p.m. in the 30600 block.
SUNDAY
* Glenneyre Street: A man reportedly jumped on the back of a car
and was chasing cars at 12:33 a.m. in the 400 block.
* Glenneyre Street and Park Avenue: The driver of a white Suburban
reportedly hit a stop sign at 10:37 p.m.
* Laguna Canyon Road: Ducklings were reportedly running in the
street at 4:36 p.m. in the 20300 block.
* Legion Street: A man reportedly knocked on the door at 4:04 a.m.
in the 500 block.
* North Coast Highway: Police received a report that five or six
Marines were drunk and throwing bottles in the pool at 2:29 a.m. in
the 400 block.
* North Coast Highway: A man reportedly stole a bottle of Bacardi
at 2:24 p.m. in the 600 block.
* North Coast Highway: A black Mercedes was reportedly hit and the
bumper damaged at 11:53 a.m. in the 1100 block.
* South Coast Highway: A man was reportedly bothering people and
urinating in public at 6:53 p.m. in the 31100 block.
* Sunset Terrace: Police received a report that someone was in the
backyard with a flashlight at midnight in the 100 block.
* Upper Rim Rock Road: A green 1998 Ford Explorer was reportedly
keyed at 2:54 p.m. in the 1900 block.
SATURDAY
* Broadway and Pacific Coast Highway: Police received a report
that the driver of a black Ford Ranger opened the door and tried to
hit a jogger at 1:08 a.m.
* Grandview Street: A clay flower pot was reportedly stolen at
7:48 a.m. in the 200 block.
* La Mirada Street: A man reported that someone used a saw on his
tree at 10:17 a.m. in the 1100 block.
* McKnight Drive: Police received a report that a housekeeper took
a diamond from a residence at 7:41 p.m. in the 100 block.
* Miramar Street: A pit bull was reportedly running loose at 1
p.m. in the 900 block.
* North Coast Highway: A man reportedly refused to leave a store
at 1:35 p.m. in the 1300 block.
* North Coast Highway: A red 1970 Trailblazer was reportedly
stolen at 9:09 a.m. in the 1500 block.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that a man drove
away with an open wine bottle at 4:03 a.m. in the 30800 block.
* South Coast Highway at Oak Street: A green Volvo S70 was
reportedly stolen at 1:14 a.m.

* Dartmoor Street: A housesitter reported that a prowler was
swinging a golf club in the bushes at 1:29 p.m. in the 500 block.
* Dunning Drive: A man was reportedly sick from eating rotten
Easter eggs at 10:33 p.m. in the 1300 block.
* Dyer Place: A man reported to police that his bank told him that
someone withdrew $600 from his bank account at 6:07 p.m. in the 1000
block.
* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that two children
were stuck in the rocks at 5:26 p.m. in the 1500 block.
* South Coast Highway at Wesley Drive: A woman reported that a man
tried to get into her minivan while she was stopped at a light at
10:39 p.m.
