DAVID ARISS
Former Corona de Mar real estate broker and consultant David Ariss
has died.
Known for his service in Vietnam as a Marine Corps helicopter
pilot, Ariss lived in Newport Beach and Corona del Mar for about 20
years before moving to Laguna Beach and Chino Hills.
He died Jan. 31 from complications of a heart attack and strokes
at the age of 65.
Ariss worked for Coldwell Banker and was managing director of the
California Commerce Center in Ontario for more than 20 years. A
memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Riverside
National Cemetery.
Ariss is survived by his daughter, Katherine Amick; sons, David
Ariss Jr. and Dylan Ariss; sister Elizabeth McGuire; and two
grandchildren.
