Many local teams hit road for next round

Both the Newport Harbor and Corona del Mar high school boys water

polo teams will be visiting its opponents in the quarterfinals of the

CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

Newport Harbor (18-10) will travel to fourth-seeded

Harvard-Westlake (22-3) and second-seeded CdM (19-8) is scheduled to

play at Loyola (18-9).

Costa Mesa’s boys water polo team will visit Los Alamitos in the

quarterfinals of the Division II playoffs Tuesday at 3:15 p.m.

* TENNIS: Corona del Mar’s girls tennis team will visit Mission

Viejo in the second round of the Division I playoffs today at 2 p.m.

Newport Harbor will host Harvard-Westlake in the Division I second

round today at noon.

Estancia will host Aquinas in the Division V second round today at

2 p.m.

Sage Hill visits Granite Hills in the Division V second round

today at 2 p.m.

Dorado in the Division II-AA quarterfinals tonight at 7 p.m.

Sage Hill hosts Chadwick in the Division IV-A quarterfinals
