Ladies Workout Express, a workout environment designed especially
for women, will hold a grand opening celebration and Health Fair from

The Bolsa Chica Wetlands Tour will be a walk along the loop trail
of the wetlands. Trained tour guides will discuss bird
identification, ecology, endangered species, early history and the
wetlands’ status. The walk will begin at 10 a.m. Guests will meet at
the walkbridge at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve on the east side
Pacific Coast Highway between Warner and Seapoint avenues. Admission

The Shipley Nature Center Tour will offer visitors a chance to
hear descriptions of the center’s planned restoration to its
historical native plant habitat with the addition of water
conservation gardens. The event will begin at 10 a.m. Guests will
meet at the front gate to the Shipley Nature Center in Huntington
Central Park. Parking will be available in the Central Park Drive
parking lot off Edwards Street between Talbert and Slater avenues.

Fall Surf City Connection, a networking business expo, will be
held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort
Pavilion, 21100 Pacific Coast Highway. The event is free to the
public and will feature food tasting and $2,500 in door prizes.

A blood drive will be held by the American Red Cross to meet a
critical blood shortage. Donors must be 17-years-old or older, weigh
at least 110 pounds, be in good health and not at risk for HIV or

County Water District will present the Landscape Design with Water

Huntington Beach Police
Department Senior Volunteer Program is accepting applications for
new members. Volunteers perform duties for the Department, such as
citing illegally parked cars and taking down illegally posted signs.
Applicants must be 55 and over and live in Huntington Beach.

The SOS Investment Club meets regularly on the second Monday of
