member/guest tournament in June 2003, a year after father, Phil,

passed away. “It was the best round of my life,” Arnold said. “For

four hours worth, I felt dad’s presence.”

Noteworthy: Currently serving one-year term as Santa Ana Country

Club president and is in his third year on the club’s board of

directors. Arnold owns a company that manufactures gas fireplace logs

and grills. Arnold competed in wrestling and gymnastics at Corona del

Mar High -- he is a 1971 graduate. Won the low gross title with

partner Mark Hoppe in the Santa Ana invitational three years ago. He

and his family attend Mariners Church in Irvine.
