Laguna Tunes to host free concert
Laguna Tunes will perform a concert on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the
Neighborhood Congregational Church. Co-director Roxana said there
will be a wide range of musical tastes including Broadway hits.
The newly formed community chorus began in the fall and now boasts
40 members, ages 16 to 80, Ward said.
Ward, Pat Kollenda and Lisa Morrice came up with the idea to form
a community chorus. They thought it was missing in the arts.
Co-director Christin Cornell leads the more classical pieces while
Ward directs more of the pop and jazz tunes.
The Neighborhood Congregational Church is at 340 St. Ann’s Drive.
