ON THE AGENDA
Here are a few of the items the commission will consider Monday.
APPEAL OF ADDITION DENIAL
Todd and Martha Thompson, who own property at 463 E. 19th St., are
appealing the zoning administrator’s denial of their plans to add a
second-story addition and expand the first floor of their home. The
administrator denied the addition because it doesn’t comply with the
city’s residential design guidelines.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Staff members are recommending upholding the denial.
LAND USE CHANGE
The commission will consider a change in the general plan land use
designation and rezoning the property at 330 W. Bay St., owned by
Richard Dick, and where the Daily Pilot is located. Future
development of the property would be medium-density residential
development.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Home ownership opportunities are a plus in this city so staff
members are recommending approval.
SUBDIVISION REQUEST
CommonWealth Partners LLC will ask the commission to approve a
subdivision of three existing parcels at Two Town Center into 14
parcels. The subdivision would divide the existing parcels into 10
lots for buildings and four lots for parking and common areas.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Staff members don’t foresee any negative effects from the
subdivision and are recommending approval.
