Mary Crawford
A memorial mass is scheduled for Mary Crawford, a 53-year Costa
Mesa resident, on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church
in Costa Mesa.
Mrs. Crawford died Jan. 8. She was 76.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by her husband, Lester E. Crawford; sons
Michael, Kenneth, David and Dennis Crawford; daughter Kathryn
Grasser; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Mary Margaret Hayes
A mass is scheduled to be held for Newport Beach resident Mary
Margaret Hayes at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman
Catholic Church.
Ms. Hayes died Monday in her home. She was 81.
Ms. Hayes is survived by her son, Steven Hayes.
Visitation is today from 4 to 7 p.m. and a rosary is set for 7
p.m.Both will be held at Bell Broadway mortuary. Burial will be at
Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar.
John M. Duncan
A memorial service for John M. Duncan, a longtime Newport Beach
resident, is set for 2:30 p.m. Friday at Pacific View Chapel in
Corona del Mar.
Mr. Duncan died Monday of cancer. He was 77.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife Adele Morrison Duncan; son
David Duncan; daughters Juli Korneychuk and Leslye Miyashiro; seven
grandchildren; and sisters Marcia D. DePriest and Dorothy Duncan.
Richard Burton
Richard Burton, a resident of Balboa Island for 10 years, died
Jan. 7 of colon disease. He was 85.
Mr. Burton is survived by his daughters Katherine Burton and Susan
Finch; son Richard; and two grandchildren.
A private funeral will be held. Donations to the family may be
made through McCormick & Son mortuary in Laguna Beach.
Fred William Schultz
Fred William Schultz, a 43-year Costa Mesa resident, died Jan. 4
of cancer. He was 69.
Mr. Schultz is survived by his wife, Jenny Schultz; daughters
Rhonda Rodriguez and Michele Schultz; two grandchildren; four
brothers; and one sister.
A private funeral will be held.
Pauline Wilson
Pauline Wilson, who lived in Newport Beach for 11 years, died Jan.
5 of heart disease. She was 94.
Ms. Wilson is survived by her sister, Lorraine Dismang Ebright,
and her nephew, Glenn Dismang.
Private services were held.
