2Watch the Sugar Plum Fairy dance. Festival Ballet Theatre will
perform “The Nutcracker” through Sunday at Orange Coast College’s

3Jazzy portraits in the mall. “Portraits from the Golden Age of
Jazz,” a series of photographs by William Gottlieb, will be on
display at the Orange County Museum of Art’s Satellite Gallery
through Dec. 29. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday;
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The

4A winter camp for kids. Costa Mesa Recreation Division will hold
a “Winter Camp Costa Mesa” Monday to Friday and Dec. 30 to Jan. 3 as
an affordable place for children ages 6 to 12 to go during winter
break. The camp will include games, arts and crafts, and
mini-excursions to local venues. $72 per week for regular hours (8
a.m. to 5 p.m.) and $88 per week for extended hours (7 a.m. to 6
p.m.) per child.
WEDNESDAY
5Dr. Seuss lives. The Orange County Performing Arts Center will
present “Seussical the Musical” on Wednesday through Jan. 4. The
Center is at 600 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa. Performances are at 8
p.m. Wednesday through Friday; at 8 p.m. New Year’s Eve; at 1 and 8
p.m. Thursday and Saturday; and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The
Christmas performance will be a special family night -- purchase one
