This Lhasa apso lost Saturday at Fashion Island received the name
Taffy, said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Newport Beach-based
Community Animal Network.
Pfaff-Martin and others tried to find the owner and have
advertised the dog as found, but have still come up short. The dog
will be available for adoption if the owner does not claim it, she
said. Anyone seeking to claim the animal as theirs needs to provide
vet records and have a photo of the dog, she said.
“This holiday season, please save lives by adopting a rescue
animal from a shelter or any animal organization,” Pfaff-Martin said.
Rescue animals continue to need vet medical attention.
“When you donate to [the network’s] vet medical account, your
money serves the needs of animals only -- food, vet medical food and
supplies. We need your help to continue our work with local animals.
Please donate this Christmas,” Pfaff-Martin said.
