Seahawks fall to Compton, 12-6
Quarterback Taylor Sepulveda tossed a touchdown strike to Robbie
Lusk in the final seconds of the first half, but it was not enough
for the Seahawks to beat Compton as the latter held on for a 12-6
victory in Junior All-American football.
The Seahawks played strong defensively, as Jamie McGee stopped a
Titan’s player on a goal line stance, and linebackers Chas Vickery
III, Matt Lutton and Eric Rask all had multiple sacks.
The defensive line was anchored by Steven Dean, Brett Houten and
Richie Sorenson.
Lusk and Jacob Gildart ran through open holes made by the
offensive line of Jonathon Howse, Frankie Russo, Kevin Morgenstern,
Bryce Jardin and Corbin McNutt.
Sepulveda threw complete to Gildart for a key reception.
