‘FIRST SUNDAYS AT FIVE’

A “First Sundays at Five” concert will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at

Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Corona del Mar. The

first of the seven-concert series will feature Burton Karson and

friends in a piano recital dedicating the parish’s new Yamaha piano.

‘ZEN JUMPSTART’

The Zen Center of Orange County will offer a six-week program

titled “Zen JumpStart” on Tuesday through Dec. 15 at the Zen Center,

120 E. 18th St., Costa Mesa. Sessions will be held from 5 to 7:15

p.m. Sundays, and the first and third Tuesdays of every month from 7

COMMUNITY SERVICE FAIR

The Newport Mesa Irvine Interfaith Council will hold its third

annual Community Service Fair from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at

the intersection of 16th Street and Dover Drive in Newport Beach.

CARING FOR CREATION

The Orange County Interfaith Coalition for the Environment will

present Caring for Creation V, an interfaith conference on

spirituality and the environment, with keynote speaker Julia
