Kittens
Bottle feeder Haley Penan donated her time to help feed the
kittens during last weekend’s adoption, but more donations of both
time and money are needed. For donations of only $25, the Community
Animal Network is able to feed four abandoned kittens for one week.
“Abandoned kittens are being found in Jeeps, bushes and in garages
late this season,” said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, the founder of Newport
Beach-based network. “As the community focuses on school, soccer and
football, our volunteer base is slim.”
By donating both time and money, families can help the network
tend to the high demand of kittens during the upcoming holiday
season.

or stop by Russo’s pet store at Fashion Island between noon and 4
p.m. on weekends.
