made up of 14 girls recently finished second in their pool, advanced
to the semifinals and finished fourth in a 10-team field in the
Hawaii Cup in Maui.
Aside from playing soccer, several activities were planned for the
girls. They celebrated with other islanders during a luau. They
visited Hana, Haleakala Crater and experienced the culture and
heritage of Hawaii.

Michelle Greaney, Rebecca Hamilton, Julie Hubbard, Morgan Jones,
Emily Leece, Melissa Murphy, Ashley Silletto, Alisha Smith, Julia
Tasedan, Adriana Triana and Avery Williams.
The Region 120 Cultural travel team opened Hawaii Cup play with a
5-0 loss to Downey United, but the 14 Costa Mesa girls came back to
win three in a row and advanced to the semifinals.
They defeated AA Honu Soccer Club, 1-0. Then came a 1-0 win over
Spokane Mustang Club. And, with another thrilling victory, this time
a 4-3 triumph over Bend Express Club, the Region 120 squad moved on
to the semifinals.
The Costa Mesa team lost twice in the Final.
The 14 girls from Costa Mesa also competed in the Colorado
