Saturday, June 8: Discovery Trail Nature Walk from noon to 12:30 p.m.
Sunday, June 9: Stewardship Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Orange County Natural History Museum is located at the Park
entrance. Open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

There are backcountry hikes most Saturdays and Sundays at 9 a.m.
Saturday, June 8: Walking tour of Historic District. Park at Los
Trancos lot, meet at Historic District Visitor Center for tour of
cottages at 10 a.m.
Visitor Center hours 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Sunday and 6 a.m. to
2 p.m. Saturday.
Volunteer training for Historic District Visitor Center from 10 a.m.
to 2 p.m. Saturday. Call for more information.
Saturday, June 29: Very popular Bat Walk. Reservations start June 17.

Participants for all activities meet at the Laguna Coast Wilderness
Park headquarters on Laguna Canyon Road just south of the El Toro Road
intersection. All tours require reservations.
Saturday, June 8: 12-mile, 5-hour hike in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park
and Shady Canyon starting at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, June 9: Introductory
mountain bike ride at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 15: 2- to 3-mile hike on
Laguna Laurel land (new land gift from The Irvine Company) starting at
8:30 a.m. Call for meeting location.
Sunday, June 16: Equestrian tour and introductory mountain bike ride
at 9 a.m.
Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

Wilderness Access: Every Sunday at Willow Road staging area on Laguna
Canyon Road just south of El Toro Road intersection. Hiker, equestrian
and mountain bicyclist access on specified trails without guides. Gate
open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., visitors must exit by 3 p.m.
Jim Dilley Greenbelt Preserve: Every Saturday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There
is hiking only on specified trails without guides. Trails include
Barbara’s Lake, the largest of the Laguna Lakes, the only natural lakes
in Orange County.
Guided hikes in Laurel Canyon: Every Saturday: A 3.5-mile hike by
Laguna Greenbelt, Inc. volunteers starting at 8 a.m. Reservations
required and $2 donation requested. Weekday and special group tours
available.
Laguna Heights: Open daily year round, 7 a.m. to sunset. Trailhead
for West Ridge Trail and trails into Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness
Park.
There will be a new Laguna Coast Wilderness Park access schedule
coming in July.
Volunteer opportunities are available at each park.
