Two tabby cats -- Sweetie, 7, and Samantha, 10, who is blind in one
eye -- are not blood relatives but both have a manageable condition
called irritable bowel syndrome, which is managed by proper diet, said
DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Community Animal Network.
“We are hoping that someone in the community . . . will see their
beauty and be drawn to bring them home,” Pfaff-Martin said. “They do not
have to be adopted together.”
Most pregnant cats lose their lives at shelters, Pfaff-Martin said.
“Our rescued pregnant cats are having their babies now,” she said.
“High volumes of dollars are consumed in spring. Donations are
continually needed to support the feeding and care of caring for our
nursery animals. Foster homes are needed too.”
