NEWPORT BEACH - The Newport Aquatic Center junior rowing team will
hold its ergathon alumni day fund-raiser Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at
the facility at One Whitecliffs Drive.
Athletes will row up to 20,000 miles on rowing simulation machines,
but will row 1,000 miles less for each $10 contribution they collect.
A barbecue, as well as a dedication ceremony for two new four-person
boats acquired with public donations, will also be held and NAC junior
rowing alumni, prospective junior rowers, as well as community members,
are invited to take part.

Diego on Sunday.

Geddes, Shannon Packer, Lindsay Serrins, Devon McCalla, Lauren May,
Esther Lofgren, Lindsey Hurban and Kate Mead, with coxswain Lauren
Lorman, pulled to the fourth-fastest time in their division, during the
competition, over the 2,000-meter course.
