WEATHER FORECAST
Cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-50s start what promises to be
another dreary day. The mercury will rise to the upper 60s by the
midafternoon, and there could be occasional gusts of wind.

BOATING FORECAST
The winds on the inner waters will start out light and from the
southeast but turn to the west and build to 10 to 15 knots by the
afternoon. Wind waves will be 2 feet at most on a 4- to 6-foot swell from
the west. The winds will die at nightfall. Watch for early morning and
nighttime fog.
There may be a continuing small-craft advisory on the outer waters,
with winds from the northwest up to 25 knots. The highest winds and seas
will be northwest of San Nicolas Island. The swell will be 7 to 9 feet
from the northwest.
SURF
More of this waist- to chest-high surf as we continue to have nothing
to get up for. An occasional crumbly shoulder here and there. Next week
may bring something from the northwest.
