Edison hosts football camp

Edison High will be the host for the upcoming Fundamentals Football

Camp, scheduled for June 8-9.

The camp, presented by West Football Camps, is open to local youth

football players. A few professional football players as well as area

coaches will give instruction that includes detailed skill development at

all positions, emphasis on football fundamentals, running mechanics and

speed enhancement, team concepts relating to defensive pursuit and

offensive strategies. The camp will feature non-contact participation --

no helmets and no pads.

The two day camp will run between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on both days.

The cost per camper is $125, which includes a camp T-shirt, lunch and

instruction.
