Facing a four-run deficit heading into the bottom of the sixth inning
didn’t seem to faze the A’s.
Andy Ragsdale completed a five-run last at-bat for the A’s as his
two-out double brought home Matt McWilliams for the winning run in a 6-5
triumph in Majors Division action at Ocean View Little League.
Dalton Hintz brought the A’s even at 5-5 with a towering, 230-foot
home run.
Ragsdale also pitched for the A’s.

A player injury suspended play in the sixth inning.
The pitching duel featured strong efforts by Chris Nowlin and Scott
Baxter for the Astros and Garrett Shinn of the Indians.
Ryan Christie had two hits and scored for the Indians.
Mariners 5, Diamondbacks 2
Matt Fetters doubled and Cole Tisher and Beau Amaral shared pitching
duties to lead the Mariners.
MINOR A DIVISION
Giants 8, Rockies 7
Jacob Conroy came up with two hits to lead the Giants in this battle
for second place in the division standings.
A’s 6, Padres 3
The win kept the A’s unbeaten and in sole possession of first place.
