FRIDAY
The Huntington Beach Playhouse will present “A Chorus Line” through
Feb. 3. Shows will be at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Saturday; and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $14 to $17 general and $7
on student Thursdays. There is a $1 city surcharge. The playhouse is at
7111 Talbert Ave. (The Huntington Beach Library, lower level.)

SATURDAY
The Knights of Columbus (Pope John Paul I Council) is sponsoring a
“Casino Night” from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m., Feb. 2 at Saint Bonaventure
Church Hall, 16410 Springdale St. (corner of Springdale Street and Heil
Avenue). Contribution is $25, which includes food, two drink tickets and
$150 play money. Proceeds will support charitable, religious and local

SUNDAY
The Huntington Beach Art Center will host an exhibition titled,
“Centered on the Center, 2002” Feb. 2-24. The show includes more than 200
regional artists in a salon-style exhibition. There will be a reception
from 6 to 9 p.m., Feb. 2 at the gallery, 358 Main. St. Admission is free.
Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; noon to
8 p.m. Thursday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Information: (714) 374-1650.
