*Algonquin Street: Liquor valued at $200 was stolen from a store in
the 16800 block at 3:10 p.m. Sunday.
*Amberwick Lane: Trespassing was reported in the 21200 block at 2:15
p.m. Sunday.
*Bahama Lane: A man with no credentials from Cal State Long Beach
State was going door-to-door asking for money in the 21600 block at 4:10
p.m. Thursday.
*Beach Boulevard: An office was broken into in the 19100 block at 7:49
a.m. Sunday.
*Beach Boulevard and Garfield Avenue: A Yorkshire Terrier was stolen
from a car parked in front of a Sav-On drug store at 6:13 p.m. Sunday.
*Beach Boulevard: A driver saw another driver slash a car’s tire in in
the 19600 block at 7:29 p.m. Friday.
*Beach Boulevard: Equipment was taken from a business in the 17100
block at 7:09 p.m. Friday.
*Bolsa Chica Road: A transient had a sleeping bag and set up camp in
an alcove of a salon in the 16500 block at 5:18 p.m. Saturday.
*Bolsa Chica Road: Management reported two storage sheds on the
property were broken into in the 17100 block at 7:47 a.m. Friday.
*Breda Lane: A suspicious man wearing a jogging suit was seen in the
neighbors’ driveway in the 17300 block at 10:09 a.m. Thursday.
*Brookhurst Street and Adams Avenue: A man was seen standing in
traffic and asking for money at 11:14 a.m. Friday.
*Cascade Lane: A resident came home and found the house ransacked in
the 15200 block at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
*Charlene Circle: A transient sleeping on the floor of a laundry room
was reported in the 4900 block at 7:53 p.m. Sunday.
*Craimer Lane: Someone threw an egg at a man’s house in the 20000
block at 9:53 p.m. Sunday.
*Dettswood Drive: A Sony PlayStation and games were stolen from a
residence in the 9600 block at 4:17 p.m. Friday.
*Ellis Avenue: A man in his late teens to early 20s was seen jumping
over a neighbor’s fence in the 8200 block at 2:42 a.m. Friday.
*Glencoe Avenue: People were allegedly selling drugs in the 7900 block
at 2:43 p.m. Saturday.
*Goldenwest Street: A black 2001 Toyota Sequoia was stolen in the
15700 block at 11:56 a.m. Sunday.
*Gothard Street: A basketball player said a referee grabbed him and
punched him outside the gym in the 17000 block at 6:46 p.m. Friday.
*Grant Drive: A woman reported that someone took her mail, ripped it
up and put it back in the mail box in the 8100 block at 1:42 p.m.
Thursday.
*Hanover Lane: A man came to the front door of a home three times
looking for someone that doesn’t live there in the 15300 block at 7 p.m.
Thursday.
*Heil Avenue and Edwards Street: An elderly female wearing a scarf
around her head was seen trying to flag down motorists at 9:25 a.m.
Saturday.
*Irby Lane: A neighbor saw a man looking into his neighbors’ front
window in the 16600 block at 1:17 p.m. Thursday.
*James Circle: More than $3,000 in cash was taken from a locked box
hidden in a kitchen in the 4700 block at 10:34 a.m. Thursday.
*Larthorn Drive: A suitcase, toolbox, and Christmas lights were stolen
from a garage in the 8600 block at 11:02 a.m. Friday.
*Main Street: A transient was seen talking to himself and yelling at
customers as they walked by in the 100 block at 2:11 p.m. Saturday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: People were throwing water balloons at
vehicles from behind a building in the 900 block at 1:04 a.m. Sunday.
*Pacific Coast Highway: Two men were seen urinating by a gate in a
parking structure in the 1200 block at 1:17 a.m. Saturday.
*Queens Lane: A white Buick Regal’s window was found broken in the
17400 block at 7:20 a.m. Saturday.
*Sisson Drive and Bolsa Chica Road: A female in her late 20s with
short blond hair wearing a little jacket and blue jeans was seen
wandering into the street at 5:11 p.m. Friday.
*Slater Avenue: Nine day laborers were seen smoking marijuana in the
7800 block at 9:44 a.m. Saturday.
