WEATHER FORECAST
The day will begin quite cool as temperatures begin in the low 40s.
They’ll pick up under mostly sunny skies today to the low to mid-60s in
Newport-Mesa. Overnight, the lows will hover in the high 40s.
It should be slightly warmer and cloudier on Tuesday. Showers may
return by Thursday. But until then, enjoy yourself.

BOATING FORECAST
Typical westerly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots in the inner waters
this afternoon, with 1- to 2-foot waves and a west swell of 4 feet. The
winds will become northerly later, but nothing else will change.
Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow a bit stronger at 10 to
20 knots this afternoon, with waves of about 2 to 3 feet and a northwest
swell of 8 feet. By night, the winds will pick up to 15 to 25 knots and
the swell will build to the 8- to 10-foot range.
SURF
All good things must come to an end, so, after some decent weekend
surf, you might as well just enjoy work today. Waves are expected to be
in the knee- to waist-high range today. Tuesday should be similar, but
Wednesday’s looking to boast a new northwest swell.
