WEATHER FORECAST
A beautiful day may be marred by some scattered showers as a storm
moves in overnight Sunday. Expect to see mostly sunny weather with highs
in the mid-60s and lows in the upper 40s. While the temperatures won’t
hit anywhere near the 1934 record high of 77, it should still be nice out
until the rain comes.

BOATING FORECAST
The catch phrase in the world of boating today is “watch out for those
winds!” Near shore, the winds will start out in the morning blowing from
the west and northwest at 10 knots or less. But as the day goes on,
expect winds from 10 to 20 knots, kicking up 1- to 3-foot wind waves. A
swell of 3 feet is expected to build to between 4 and 6 feet.
For waters further out, a gale warning has been issued for today.
Winds coming from the northwest at 15 to 25 feet are expected to increase
to 25 to 35 feet by the afternoon. Wind waves of 4 to 5 feet are
expected. A northwest swell of 8 feet may build to between 9 and 12 feet.
There is also a slight chance of showers.
SURF
The weather may look nice, but this surf’s got no muscles. Expect to
see small surf in the morning -- in the 1-3’ range -- that may get a
little better as the day wears on.
