Pet of the Week

Two 5-month-old white kittens with blue eyes and long hair that look
like Turkish Angoras, and their white mother, were saved last week from a
shelter’s death row, said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, founder of the Community
Animal Network.
It was the network’s first rescue since Sept. 11, which has hindered
donated dollars, she said.
“We will be unable to continue rescuing without receiving the
financial support from the community and the willingness to spend again
to adopt rescue animals,” Pfaff-Martin said. “The more adoptions and
dollars we have to work with, the more animals we can save.”
